Retro RePost: Character Actor Tributes

While I take a little siesta after a busy work week, to prepare for next week's article honoring another great character actor of our time, I'm posting a list of the actors I've already covered.

Perhaps you missed these articles when they were fresh.  If you didn't know, there's a link at the top of the page labeled "Collections" (which might also be found under the menu "hamburger icon" if you're using your phone) that can guide you to some great reading material broken down into topics.  It doesn't include everything I post here, and I sometimes go months without updating it, but I humbly think you'll find some excellent information and fun reads there!

Before next week's tribute article, please read more about the following:

Ernie Sabella - The voice of Pumbaa the warthog and maybe best known by my generation as Mr. Carosi, the owner of Malibu Sands on Saved by the Bell.

Larry Hankin - Maybe best known as the junkyard owner from Breaking Bad, Larry has been in nearly everything.  My personal favorite role?  Hard to say.  Either Doobie in "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" or Officer Larry Balzack in "Home Alone."

Edie McClurg - A woman with an instantly recognizable voice and too many roles to mention, it was hard to whittle it down to five.  Check out this list to see my favorites!

Alice Nunn - Read a bit about the woman best known as Large Marge from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure!

Paul Reubens - Speaking of Pee-Wee, read all about the man himself here!  Also, check out these articles about Pee-Wee's Big Adventure.  The 35th Anniversary, My 5 Favorite Scenes, or The Cabazon Dinosaurs.

Dick Miller - It's "That Guy!"

Thanks for reading!  Who do you think will be featured in next week's article?  Let me know in the comments.

Here's a hint: She was mentioned frequently here last holiday season.
