Several years back, I posted this nostalgic list of everything that screams "summertime fun in the 90s." Reading it over, it still hits pretty hard, if I'm being honest.
I'm reposting it now because nothing beats that perfect mix of freedom, sunshine, and pure chaos we enjoyed back then. The summers felt endless. We'd disappear all day and only come home when called for dinner. No cell phones, no social media, no hudgmenet. Just pure, unsupervised funs, making our own Slip n Slides, chasing the ice cream truck, or glorious afternoons parked in front of Nickelodeon's Nick in the Afternoon with Stick Stickley.
I still smile thinking about long bike rides going in circles around the block, Freezie Pops dripping down our wrists, belly flops into the pool, or the Nick-at-Nite Block Party Summer.
Those were the days. Which of these takes you back to your childhood? Drop your favorite summer memory in the comments!
